  5. Complete rewrite of my old Powerups plugin, with some ideas from RTD Revamped! Description This plugin allows players to buy powerups using points that they get by playing on your server. How does it works? While a player is on your server, he will get points for: - Playing (Time) - Doing map objectives (Incoming in future releases) - Killing other players (Incoming in future releases) When the player have enough points, he will be able to buy powerups by accessing the shop menu (!powerups). Commands sm_powerups or !powerups in the chat to open the shop menu. sm_addpoints <player name/steam id> <quantity> - Adds points to a given player account. sm_removepoints <player name/steam id> <quantity> - Removes points from a given player account. sm_forcepowerup <player name> <powerup> - Forces a powerup to some player. (<powerup> parameter is the powerup number in "ps_powerups.txt"). Install Instructions Download the .zip and extract into "...addonssourcemod" folder. Configuration When you run the plugin for the first time, a .cfg named "plugin.powerups_shop" will be generated in your "...cfgsourcemod" folder. Modify that file to customize the plugin settings. All players informations are stored in "...addonssourcemoddata" folder, as a text file named "ps_players". All powerups settings are stored in "...addonssourcemodconfigs" folder as a text file named "ps_powerups". When I play L4D2 and someone decides to use melee what happens -every- time is they: 1) loose health way faster than non melee users 2) consume team resources 3) end up being a major liability 4) waste my time having to make up for their sub par game play To avoid all of these hassles on my server I just remove all melee "weapons" from my server. This is a simple plug in. Once loaded all melee and possible melee spawns are removed from all maps! If you wanted to remove other items or possible spawns it would be as simple as adding them to the list adjusting the number of items and recompiling. I hope this can help someone else. Yet another attempt at finding something basic yet unreleased, here you go. literally does what it says via console variables. sm_spectatorchat_disabled - 0/1 - Disable text chat from spectators. Default is 0 sm_team2_disabled - 0/1 - Disable text chat from Team 2. Default is 0 (CT/BLU/Allies) sm_team3_disabled - 0/1 - Disable text chat from Team 3. Default is 0 (T/RED/Axis) sm_chat_admin_bypass- 0/1 - Should an admin bypass the above settings?.
